Shane Kelley is a recent UCSB graduate, earning his Bachelor of Science in Psychological and Brain Sciences as
a Promise Scholar. From Santa Clarita, California, Kelley has pursued various lines of work throughout his
undergraduate career including publishing articles for the Ojai Valley News covering High School football
games, and working as a part of the media staff as a photographer for the UCSB Basketball Team. His article in
the Imagine journal was written as a means to spread knowledge surrounding the proper ways for athletes to
manage rehabilitation and to raise awareness regarding the typical hardships faced for athletes post-injury. Kelley
is now preparing to begin a Master's Program in which he will dive further into the field of Exercise and Sports
Psychology in pursuit of a career within professional athletics. In his spare time, Kelley finds joy within being
outdoors, whether that be golfing, hiking, or rock climbing.
