Morgan Perlmuter is a recent UCSB graduate, earning her Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Her work is being published in hopes of informing athletes of the benefits of the mind-body connection and how it can improve their own athletic performance. While pursuing her B.S., she served as Department Coordinator for the operating room at St. Johns Regional Medical Center through the COPE program. At the time of publishing, Perlmuter is currently in Costa Rica volunteering at local medical center and ambulance company Linea Vital. She will have served a total of five months immersing herself in Spanish patient care while preparing to apply to Physician Assistant school. Outside of her healthcare work, Perlmuter enjoys working towards her private pilot's license, surfing, backpacking around California and Oregon, and working for the State of California as an ocean lifeguard.
