Evan Ho is a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara, triple-majoring in Global Studies, Asian Studies, and History, with a minor in Translation Studies. He is a native of Los Angeles. Evan's research explores public participation methods and grassroots involvement in Chinese water policy; more broadly, he is interested in environmental initiatives in China and across East Asia. He hopes that his work will increase dialogue about climate change, especially at a time when it is most dire, and continue to address the water needs of the most underrepresented. He will be attending Georgetown University in the Fall 2026 to pursue a Master's degree in Asian Studies, and he plans to pursue a career in higher education. Outside of academics, Evan works with many cultural organizations on campus, and he enjoys sports, cooking, eating good food, and late night conversations.
